What is a vSOFIC?
vSOFIC is a virtual conference for USSOCOM leadership to share emerging requirements, challenges, trends, and capability gaps, and for industry to respond by describing existing and emerging capabilities all from the comfort of your own home or office through your computer or mobile device.
How do I register for vSOFIC?
You can register online at vSOFIC.org/Register.
When is the deadline to register for vSOFIC?
There is not a deadline to register, however registrations received during the week of the conference may take up to 10 hours process and receive login instructions.
What if I already registered for 2020 SOFIC?
Anyone who registered for 2020 SOFIC will be automatically refunded. Refunds will be administered towards the end of May/early June because of our high volume of events. You will need to re-register for vSOFIC at vSOFIC.org/Register.
What if I already canceled my SOFIC registration?
You can register at vSOFIC.org/Register.
What if I register for vSOFIC and miss it?
Fourteen (14) days after the conference, all of our releasable presentations and recordings will be available in an on-demand format to everyone who was registered for vSOFIC for seven (7) days. Refunds will not be given for no shows to the virtual event.
What is On Demand?
On Demand will give you access to view over 25 releasable presentations and handouts from vSOFIC to view at your own convenience until August 31st. Accessing these presentations from vSOFIC allows you to gain valuable insights from U.S. Special Operations Command leadership and stay connect with the SOF community to obtain a better understanding of USSOCOM’s present and emerging capability gaps and needs.
When will I receive the instructions for attending vSOFIC?
After you have registered for vSOFIC, you will receive and email from support@Digitellinc.com inviting you to create your password in the virtual platform. Upon login, you can also start to navigate through the platform. Please note that it may take up to 10 hours to process a registration and receive login instructions.
How much does it cost to attend virtually?

Can my computer or mobile device handle vSOFIC?
Most up to date computers and mobile devices such as laptops, desktops, and handheld tablets are capable of running vSOFIC for you. On the virtual platform, you will be able to perform what’s called a System Checker that will analyze your internet browser, internet connection, and network settings to be sure they are optimized for your viewing experience. If there is a warning issued by this System Checker, simply click on the Get Help button or call the support number provided so that we can get you fixed up and ready for the virtual event.
Is it safe to use Zoom?
Zoom has had some security issues recently. However, they are working diligently to fix the issues. All attendees will have had to register through Experient and then create an account to log in through the vSOFIC so everyone will have been verified through registration.
Does NDIA give out Attendee Lists?
NDIA does not sell conference attendee lists with contact information. Please beware of solicitations claiming to have a NDIA registration lists, these are scams!
What do I need to do to participate in vSOFIC?
You will need to login first to the virtual platform landing page. After this, you can to proceed to the Agenda tab, then select the session you want to attend and click on the name. The system will allow you into the session 15 minutes before the session starts.
Session & vSOFIC Evaluation
After each session, an evaluation will be accessible under the Evaluations tab.
Repeat this process for each session you wish to attend. After the event, please complete the Overall Evaluation which is found at the top of the Evaluation.
Do I have access to all of the sessions?
In a word, yes! Similar to if you were attending the conference in person, you will be given the opportunity to select which sessions you’d like to attend virtually. It is up to you to decide which sessions interest you and to attend those sessions as desired. You may attend as many or as few sessions as you want.
Will I be able to see the presenters for each session?
Yes, you will be able to see both the speaker and his or her slides.
Can I ask questions during the sessions?
We encourage you to ask questions at any time using the Questions area of the session.
Can I share my virtual conference login information with other members of my team?
No, your login information is unique to your individual registration. For every paid registration to attend virtually, only the registered attendee will be allowed to enter vSOFIC. The questions asked and the polling conducted within that single login session are all tied to the account of the individual that purchased the virtual event.
Can I access and view recordings of any sessions from the conference?
Your virtual conference registration includes access to all educational session recordings after the event concludes. Don’t worry, you can view any sessions you missed out on fourteen (14) days after the conference.
What is the Industry Showcase?
The Industry Showcase will be similar to a virtual exhibit hall. Attendees will be able to view company profiles, products, and services. Companies that have selected the Enhanced Industry Showcase listing will also have the ability to set up meetings and be available in real time to answer questions. Another benefit to the Enhanced Industry listing is the capability to host a Zoom meeting room for up to 100 guests, a perfect opportunity for companies to showcase their latest and greatest products and services. Look for the red “Live” next to a company listing to see when a company is hosting a live presentation.
How do I visit the Industry Showcase?
In vSOFIC, please select the Industry Showcase tab on the left-hand side of the page to browse through the profiles and select individual Showcases for more information.
How do I download handouts?
From the home page, please select the handouts tab on the left-hand side of the page to view all available handouts and download them as a pdf.
How can I network with other attendees?
vSOFIC will host two great ways to interact with companies and other attendees. Attendees will be able to contact companies in the Industry Showcase by clicking on “Industry Showcase” on the left hand side. Once there, attendees can search the company listings and view contact information within the company profile. If the company has an Enhanced listing, they will also have the option to be live to answer any questions you may have and will also have the ability to host a Zoom meeting room for up to 100 guests to provide a live look into products and services.
The second way attendees will be able to connect is through the Networking Break Chat Lobby. This feature will give all attendees the ability to connect with each other through engaging discussions. Look for the Networking Breaks on the agenda and be sure to add them to “My Itinerary.”

Cancellations for full conference registration categories received by May 1, 2020 will receive a refund minus a $100 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given for this event after May 1, 2020. Substitutions for this event are welcome in lieu of cancellations. Refunds will not be given for no shows.
